The Paramedic Mindset hopes to:

  • Have guests share their stories to help inspire the listeners

  • Communicate any lessons learned from that experience

  • Demonstrate that sharing and being vulnerable is a sign of courage and strength

  • Encourage listeners to journal

podcast outline

the beginning

Guests share a journal entry of a pivotal moment/job they experienced that changed their path and thinking.

  • They are asked to read/share their story at the beginning of the episode

  • The interviewer may ask questions throughout for clarification and flow, but the story will be told through your experiences.

the MIDDLE

Guests reflect on their story

  • What were the lessons they learned/takeaways?

  • How has it changed them fundamentally?

  • Tips to avoid any future hardships?

  • What would have they done differently?

the END

The guests story is concluded and closing comments and questions are addressed.

HOST

Leigh Anderson deeply understands the challenges we face when placed under high stress. His career includes a diverse portfolio of paramedic operations in urban, rural, remote, marine, and austere environments. He has a Bachelor’s in Paramedic Science, a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care
Paramedicine, and is a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine.
